I like to think that my office is my sanctuary. It’s where all the magic happens and keeping it decorated according to my vibes is essential. You might be overwhelmed with ideas or don’t have a clue with were to start. Don’t worry, I’ve been there too. That’s why I’m sharing with you the best cute office decor ideas to get that creativity flowing.
Whether your office is a tiny desk in your uni halls bedroom, a cubicle at work or you’ve managed to have a huge room for yourself, the concept is the same for all of us: it’s the place to get the best out of ourselves.
1. Use your walls wisely
If you are tight on space, use them as extra storage with some shelves, keep it homey with pictures of your friends or boost your creativity with inspiring quotes, whatever you do, make sure it’s not too much, you can get bored and overwhelmed really quickly.
2. Add life with plants
Plants look nice, smell nice and make us smile. They add a bit of wildness to the room and are a great source of inspiration. They’ll keep the air cleaner as well.
3. Let the rug do its thing
Yes, rugs again. I might change the name of this blog to “rugs lover“. They change spaces completely, make rooms look bigger and brighter and are SO chic. You don’t need much more decoration if you get a nice rug that goes with the rest of the room.
Design bonus points: Get two rugs of different sizes and prints and place them one on top of the other, it adds a nice mix of textures and creativity.
4. Keep it organized with a wall grid
The top of all cute office decor ideas. This is the best way to have all the important documents at eyesight. I like to have my schedules pinned and some quotes to read when I can’t be bothered to work. They are cute and really useful.
5. Keep it bright
Lamps bring that touch of elegance to rooms and are also really important to keep our brain focused and working.
6. Stay connected
Nowadays everything revolves around technology. This is a great way to keep everything charged without all the wires messing around. It’s also great to have everything in one place, it makes it harder to forget something if you leave the office.
7. Clutter-free space with the right furniture
Seeing everything helps to make sure you’ll never lose a file or supply. Setting aside 30 minutes every day to clear out the junk and organizing it in its respective folder will have your space looking clean and free of clutter in no time.
8. Add some colors
Keeping the space vibrant it’s extremely important for creativity and work flow. Completely white rooms can look nice but they might make you fall asleep after 5 hours working. A good way to introduce some colour is integrating your brand colours or adding blue, which is said to help the brain stay calmed and focused.
9. Choose the right chair
And last but not least, make sure to choose the perfect chair for you. It’s not enough with matching the colors of the rug or the walls, make sure you can spend 8h sitting on it without your back suffering.
Don’t forget to leave your own ideas and tips in the comments!
