I am a cosmetic addict. Yes, I admit it. Am I going to stop adding things to my beauty wishlist? I don’t think so. I have a couple of things that are always part of my skincare routine but I love trying new things out and seeing what works better for me.
I am really careful when picking the products I’m going to use and I always make sure they use the best ingredients, are animal cruelty-free and organic. You’d think that it’s really hard to find brands that stick to these standards, but there are plenty and really good ones, which definitely is a problem for my pocket.
I’ve picked some products of my beauty wishlist (out of almost 40) that I really can’t wait to try and I’m planning on getting soon so I can share reviews of them in a couple of weeks.
Golden Radiance Body Oil By Freshly Cosmetics
This is actually arriving tomorrow – now you see my level of addiction – and I am SO EXCITED! This is a Spanish brand based in my own town, but they have become really big in a couple of years. Worldwide Influencers are talking about this all the time and it’s the favourite product of a lot of people, so I obviously had to try this.
This body oil concentrates 12 amazing plant-derived oils and natural technologies, to nourish and hydrate your skin, reduce cellulite and improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks. Some of the ingredients are virgin marula and chia, organic babassu, hazelnut and jojoba, rosehip and macadamia oils.
According to the reviews, it smells insanely good, it’s really fast-absorbing and it doesn’t leave an oily feeling.
Carbon Theory Soap
The Daily Mail said: “Acne sufferers go wild for £6 ‘miracle’ charcoal soap” and no one will stop me from trying this miracle. This cleansing bar controls breakouts and keeps your skin clear, balanced and hydrated.
Hormones cause me breakouts every single month and I am really tired of them. I have used tea tree oil in the past and it really works so I bet this will be good. Coming home next week most likely because it just costs £6 and the shipping is £1.50. It can’t get any better.
Mask Duo By Glossier
I am a big fan of face masks and baths with a glass of wine. If a Lush Bath Bomb is included better. This Duo is one of Glossier’s best sellers and the ingredients they use are some of my favourites, which automatically puts them in the Beauty Wishlist.
They promise deep cleansing and moisturising and I firmly believe them. I have a couple of Glossier’s best-sellers and they went beyond my expectations.
Good to know: allergy tested, dermatologist tested, appropriate for all skin types, appropriate for sensitive skin, fragrance-free, paraben-free and cruelty-free.
Blurring & Moisturizing Primer By Tula
I just found out about this brand and I was extremely surprised when I first did some research. Tula is well-know for using superfoods and probiotics. The reviews they are getting from people fighting acne are amazing.
This primer balances and nourishes the skin and it is said to blend perfectly with your skin. A lot of people actually use it on makeup-free days because of the glowing and sun-kissed effect it gives.
Its main ingredients are Chia seeds, Tumeric and Licorice and that sounds really good to me.
10% Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Serum By Typology
I was instantly attracted to this when I read Glycolic Acid. One of the things I learnt from my mum – who is a beauty specialist and esthetician – is when to identify the good ingredients in products.
Glycolic acid is the holy grail for exfoliation, and it makes skin look brighter and feel fresher. It also works great against scars, wrinkles and age marks.
Hydro Stars By Star Face
I am a compulsive picker and that makes the few pimples I get even worse. I have tried overnight creams but they haven’t really worked for me and if I have it for more than 48h it will end in a scar.
When I found out about these little stars I fell in love. I would go out with this on without a problem, and they are so cute that I wouldn’t take them off! They’re vegan and cruelty-free and ideal for every type of skin.
If you are a beauty addict I am really sorry for contributing to your addiction. If you have tried these products let me know what you think!! These are some of my beauty wishlist products and I hope to add them to my skincare routine really soon!
